Insanity
Insanity defined — the padded room version.

NIV 8 ”See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosopy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.” – Colossians 2:8, for those of you who are Christian.
WE 8 Do not let anyone fool you by his wise words. They are not true. They are what men say. They are the teachings of this world and not what Christ says.
NLT8 Don’t let anyone lead you astray with empty philosophy and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world, and not from Christ.
Christianity holds that suffering increases one’s character and is neccessary for spiritual
development. On the other hand, psychiatry teaches that suffering interferes with one’s life and the ability to live it fully.
Once people can be induced to experience a situation in a similar way, they can be expected to behave in similar ways. Induce people all to want the same thing, hate the same things, feel the same threat, then their behaviour is already captive – you have acquired your consumers or your cannon-fodder.
“THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD LIES WITH THE MALADJUSTED.”
– Martin Luther King
“Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist ought to have his head examined.”
– Samuel Goldwyn.
- Immortality would lead many of us to become eternal slackers
- Tormented days can be made easier by thoughts of absurdity
- Death thinks the world of you and wants nothing more than your company
