The word for a female gnome, gnomide (pronounced nome id ) has been lost in the last 100 years ..... I had to go back to the text of a Dictionary from the 1800's to find these beautiful creatures....

I feel it is my sacred duty in reverence to the female gender to revive its usage.
Should we be surprised that theses supremely beautiful females would be guardians of diamonds?

Love may seem a very simple concept, until you attempt to apply it in every situation. Administering discipline in love can often seem very harsh to a parent or a judge for example. However, a simpleton may not have the same difficulty and apply love liberally in every situation.

God made us and somehow he puts up with us.
Our depravity is so extreme.

We live in a bubble where even the pangs of birth and death are anaesthetized.
The cries of the innocent dying of starvation, disease and violence are but distant thoughts we may get to next week if our schedule allows.

We deserve flaccidity and irrelevance at the very least in a world where 32,000 children die a day of starvation and 1000's are being aborted in the name of convenience.
This list of our failings are endless.

In a society ( including the church ) where commitment, integrity and accountability are just words used only used when we have to. In most cases they are just words of convenience to advance are present dastardly cause. It is guaranteed that if you stand up and make to make a difference, you will be very disappointed with the army you assemble ..... Anything that requires sustained effort and commitment ..... a vision ....... that requires more than emotion of the moment, enduring hardship and ridicule ....... good luck !

It is only by personal suffering that we will turn to God. He does not want us to be satisfied with that that social club of the comforting self serving pap, we call church.
God wants us !

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God .... yet ...

We are told God is "nice" . At least he isn't "gay" or maybe he already is in some cases. ( Would explain the lack of a female in the trinity)..

God wants vital men, men to wrestle with, men who screw up so bad they need Him so bad, that nothing else but the real thing Him and Him alone will satisfy them
He doesn't want to share you with a warm and fuzzy church or even our "beautiful" family if that has become your source of comfort,

If anything is going good in our lives ..... it just distances from God...... it becomes a substitute ... We are depraved and God loves us to much to leave us there.

Gnomic wisdom says this:

Endure other people as God endures you.

It is better to be in a place that doesn't fulfill
It is even better to be in a place of suffering.
We desire neither.

Our God is a jealous God
He knows how to get our attention.
